Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Vamos' community incident map. By using the service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Emergency notice (important)

Vamos is NOT an official emergency, rescue or civil-protection service, and does not replace the authorities. In a real emergency, immediately contact official services (for example, 171, fire department or civil protection). Map information is community-contributed and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.

2. What the service is

A community information layer to report and view incidents on a map, such as collapsed structures, fallen bridges, missing or trapped people, shelters and aid points. Its purpose is to aid discovery and coordination of help, not to provide the relief itself.

3. No warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the information is correct or that the service is uninterrupted or error-free.

4. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the information you publish. You agree it is truthful, not to publish false reports, and to have a legitimate reason to include third-party data (e.g., a missing person). You understand the content you publish will be publicly visible on the map.

5. License to your content

By publishing a report, you grant Vamos a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and distribute that content within the service to coordinate help, while the report is active.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not: publish false or misleading reports; harass, defame or endanger people; upload illegal or offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights; or attempt to breach the service's security or use it to scrape data at scale.

7. Moderation and closing incidents

We may review, hide or remove content that breaches these Terms, including automatic hiding when a report accrues enough community flags. An incident is marked resolved through confirmation by the person responsible for the report, to prevent improper closures by third parties.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vamos and its team shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, or from decisions made based on community-published information.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold Vamos harmless from third-party claims arising from content you publish or from your breach of these Terms.

10. Age

To create an account or publish reports you must be of legal age or have your legal guardian's authorization.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Venezuela.
